Lean Manufacturing

Automotive manufacturers, suppliers and service providers - most of them have already implemented or are in the implementation process of Lean Manufacturing and Lean Management. The advantages are obvious: less waste, more efficiemcy and higher quality in all processes from the beginning of design up to the distribution and the parallel administration processes.

Objective of the Seminar and Workshop is to show the opportunities and ways how can we adapt the Lean Manaufactoring and Lean Management concept to typical automotive companies and departments - mainly giving an first understanding of the basics and most important elements.

Speaker(s): Peter Knorst, Senior Manager Materials Management, Fordwerke Saarlouis, Germany as manager with a long term experience in implementation and improvement of the Lean Management Concept in different plant locations like Ford Setubal (Portugal), Ford Cologne (Germany) and Ford Saarlouis (Germany).
