The Logistics Audit System - GMMOG/LE

Successful processes in the automotive industry need more and more a stabilized and optimized logistics. Optimized to best practices and an ongoing improvement process. Audit systems need a specific view to the logistics processes in the factory, upstream to customers and downstream to suppliers. General audit and Quality audit systems can not fullfill these objectives. Therfor, a logistics evaluation system was designed. Now this system ist standardized and the roll out for this new system is beginning. The application of this system will detect new chances and ways to reduce logistics and process cost and achieve customer satisfaction.

Objective of this topic is to learn the basic of the new international standard for auditing and evaluation of logistics processes in the automotive industry, mainly at oem and suppliers for auditing their suppliers.

Speaker(s): Jürgen Reise, Senior Expert AKJ/Volkswagen, Wolfsburg (Germany) as an expert with long term experiences in designing and use of auditing system for logistics at suppliers. Speakers language German will be translated into Spanish.
